Wow! I had never used a web-based mechanic or inspection service before, but I was blown away by the level of service and value YourMechanic.com and mechanic Chris Schlegel provided. He arrived early, and being able to watch his travel to the vehicle's location was cool. The communication was excellent. The vehicle inspection report was very comprehensive, and included photos and audio commentary. Chris even shared his thoughts on the dealer who is selling me the car. He followed up with a phone call in which he clearly explained the report, and which issues were more serious, and which were not. This service was extremely useful to me, and will probably save me more money than it cost me. I would assume that Chris's repair work meets similar standards.
