This was the first time I had tried YourMechanic. What a great idea this service is - I hate dropping my car off and making all of the arrangements back and forth to get service. After reading several reviews, I decided to try the service myself. This review is from a real customer, and this is my real experience. First off, it is pretty cool that you can read feedback on the mechanic you are choosing before the appointment so you know who is showing up at your location. Shawn arrived with a YourMechanic identified on the side of his car, and was wearing a shirt branded with YourMechanic. Even though the appointment was scheduled at 8:00 am on a Friday morning, he was exactly on time. He laid out a tarp under the engine on the driveway as to protect any fluid leaks from staining my driveway and had whatever catch pan he needed as well. Shawn was personable, knowledgeable, and patient about any questions I had, whether regarding the schedule service for the thermostat change or questions about my engine in general. The work I requested was performed timely, skillfully , and thoroughly. Not once did I feel like my service was rushed. As he was topping off the anti-freeze and running the engine, he inspected other issues and noted some things that he pointed out to me that may or may not need future attention. It was a great experience. Shawn did a great job and I was completely satisfied. YourMechanic would be smart to try and retain this mechanic as he is an asset to the reputation of this company. Depending on the type of service I may need, I would definitely use this service again, and would not hesitate to request Shawn again.

We were very blessed to have Clarissa as our mechanic. She was everything that I would have hoped for in a professional that would service our vehicle. She was early, kind, and knew her stuff! She answered all of my questions and was never bothered with the interruptions of our family. Clarissa was great with our kiddos. She also went the extra (two!) miles when things out of her control took longer than expected, all with a great attitude. We hope to see her again, even outside of fixing our cars! Clarissa was honest, knowledgeable and hard working. She even came in early which worked out. My steering wheel is so much smoother now and my battery light no longer comes on since the alternator was replaced. She even stayed to “bleed the engine” and made sure everything was OK before she left. So convenient and happy with the result. Thank you.

Nice Man, knew what he was doing and had my car fixed in no time. Only con was super late, but he wasn't local and they had him driving all over the place, and the first job before me took way longer than planned because he said the car was all rusted... I'd recommend him to every one.
