John was terrific. He was super prompt (even arrived early); he was really patient as I asked a few questions and he explained things to me. John was then extremely diligent and got everything done really well. Thank you John! (I got a starter and thermostat replacement for my Subaru WRX STi).

It was good. Grzegorz came on time. He did plugged in his diagnostic device into my car and he determined the problem. Gregorz suggested I told me I need to replace a sensor at the next appointment. He also replaced my drive belts because they were a little cracked.

Although the problem "Check Engine Light On" hasn't fixed yet due to the battery dead, Dindo did a very comprehensive examination for my car and listed a few items to be fixed with a quote of reasonable price. i really impressed with him and YourMechanic service. i wish i could schedule him to fix my car in the future!

Hello Jacqueline! Thank you for writing in with this question. This problem could be related to a bad gas cap o-ring, or something more involved like an evaporative emissions system leak, or canister purge solenoid problem. Since the Check Engine...
Timing belt failed, how do I keep it from happening twice?
Answered by Tom Rendahl
Hello! Thank you for writing in with this question. Timing belt replacement is generally recommended by Subaru at 105,000 miles, or 105 months. Other manufacturers recommend replacing them between 60,000-90,000 miles. It is very possible that there were contributing factors...
Driver seat broke and basically collapsed
Answered by Tom Rendahl
Greetings! Thank you for writing in about this problem. The welds on the seat brackets may have broken. This seems to be a common problem in this generation of Forester. A professional mechanic from YourMechanic can diagnose what failed (https://www.yourmechanic.com/book/?mktg_jid=391)...
