Number #1 just knowing that you as a business were on the internet surprised me totally. I am a disabled 74 year old woman that doesn't get out much and when my fan belts broke I didn't know where to turn. Then here comes this big kid driving slowly down my driveway being careful not to hit my little dogs, he gets out of the car and says "Mary Brooks" and I said "Brandon", he then said lets fix your car....What a pleasant gentle young man, described to me what he was going to do after looking at the problem. After fixing the problem he went on to say the things that I should be concerned and how to fix them or to give Your Mechanic a call and have them come out again to possibly fix whatever needed to be done and of course I would ask for him, Brandon. I will use your service and Brandon again. Thank you so very much. Give Brandon Kudos for a job well done. Mary E Brooks

Head gaskets failed how likely is it to happen again?
Answered by Tom
Hello! Thank you for writing in with this question. The design of the “boxer” engine makes for a high probability of head gasket problems. Coolant and oil drainage isn’t like typical “V” or inline style engines, so coolant and oil...
Driver seat broke and basically collapsed
Answered by Tom Rendahl
Greetings! Thank you for writing in about this problem. The welds on the seat brackets may have broken. This seems to be a common problem in this generation of Forester. A professional mechanic from YourMechanic can diagnose what failed (https://www.yourmechanic.com/book/?mktg_jid=391)...
