Very knowledgeable and thoroughly explained the throttle body cleaning process before even starting the work. During the process, showed me the soiled throttle body once removed and afterwards showed me the clean throttle body and the carbon deposits in the pan that had been removed. Efficiently managed his time and was professional from start to finish. Highly recommended!!

Answers to common Volvo 262 questions

Q: Car stalls, but the problem can not be found
Answered by Jerel
Hi there, thanks for writing in about your 2015 Volvo XC60. Intermittent concerns are by far the most difficult to diagnose. Clogged fuel filters (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/fuel-filter-replacement) often cause similar performance problems as well as poor signals from failing throttle position (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/throttle-position-sensor-replacement)...
Q: Brakes feel loose
Answered by Isai
Hi. If by loose you mean a low pedal, you might have a hydraulic leak. The hydraulic system on your brakes is a sealed system. If you develop a leak, the pedal can go to the floor. Leaks can be...
Q: Horn does not function when needing to warn vehicles
Answered by Jerel
There may be a problem with the contacts of the horn switch inside the steering wheel. It could be corrosion or just a worn out switch. A technician must gain access to the switches and inspect the circuits for any...
Q: Hissing and squealing when releasing brake pedal
Answered by Andrew
That is the sound that the brake boosters will make as the seals for the diaphragm are worn out. I would recommend having a certified technician come out and determine if that is in fact the problem you're having and...

Trusted by thousands of happy car owners

I can't say enough about how pleased I am that I found YourMechanic and Raul. I'm from out of town and didn't know who to contact to fix a truck I was borrowing. I searched the web and found YourMechanic.....thank goodness. I found Raul to be professional, an outstanding mechanic and the price was more than fair.

Kevin showed up ready to do his job and did just that. He showed me a couple important things on my vehicle I had overlooked and was nothing less than incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and informative. I would, without hesitation recommend him to anyone I know and would gladly use him again.

Milton was great! Called to let me know when he'd be arriving. Very friendly & very thorough with his explanations. Took his time to make sure, double, triple check that everything was running properly. Very pleasant experience!
