Q: won't start

asked by on January 10, 2017

I can put a little gas in the intake and it will start and run for a day or two, then it does it again.i replaced a part behind the throttle body, but two weeks later it's doing it again. Mechanic said fuel pump was working and plenty of fuel thru injectors could it be the fuel pump anyway?

My car has 157700 miles.

Steering pulling to the left while driving.
I would have a mechanic inspect your steering wheel issue (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/steering-wheel-does-not-respond-properly-inspection). They can check ABS codes with a scan tool to determine the problem. It may be a bad wheel speed sensor.

I want to disable ABS and traction control on my car
I would not suggest disabling your ABS (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/5-essential-things-to-know-about-your-car-s-anti-lock-braking-system-abs) at any time, as it compromises vehicle performance and safety. As for you traction control (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/how-does-traction-control-work), you should be able to turn it off manually using the dash mounted button. Your owner's...

Had axles and outer tie rods replaced. Now I hear loud creaking sounds coming from front near middle of van 2007 Chrysler Town & Country
Hi there - your symptoms describe possible worn strut bearing plates (https://www.yourmechanic.com/question/new-gas-struts-installed-groaning-noise-like-rubber-on-metal-can-or-should-you-grease-them-by-adam-h), or a power steering rack that is worn. Both tend to "creak' a bit more during cold weather. I recommend a " steering & suspension inspection](https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/brakes-steering-and-suspension-inspection) performed by...
