What does the door and trunk open warning mean?

There are quite a few different warnings and indicators that can be displayed in your vehicle information center. If you see an indicator that looks like the outline of a car with one door open, and words “Warning Door Open”, it means that one of your doors is open, or the trunk is open. Double check all your doors and the trunk, and the light will go out. If the light doesn’t go out and all doors and the trunk are closed securely, it means there’s a problem with the sensor and your system needs to be inspected.
