Okay one issue that i have is i cant get it to reverse sometimes it will go into drive but it will not pop into reverse. Also when i try to start it everything comes on but when i crank Iit its like it loses power and wont start but when i try it a second time it starts
My car has an automatic transmission.
The failure to shift into reverse gear could be caused by a low transmission fluid level, improper shift linkage adjustment, faults in the valve body and/or the manual valve, and/or an internal transmission clutch or band failure. To resolve that issue, at your request YourMechanic can dispatch a certified professional to your location who will perform a diagnostic and identify the root cause. If you are having difficulty starting the car, the recommended service is a hard to start inspection during which the mechanic will evaluate the ignition, fuel and air induction systems to find the cause of the hard starting. There are a couple key engine sensors, for example a coolant temperature sensor, that if bad could account for your issue as well.
