Q: Short ram intake installation

asked by on March 03, 2017

Just put in a k&n short ram air intake everything is hooked up fine but when I put it in sport mode and press hard sometimes going from second to third it will go past redline and it hasn't done that before. Do I have to wait for the Ecu to adjust ? Is it my transmission? Or is it the intake?

My car has 3700 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

The car has reduced engine power
