Hi there. I would not recommend bypassing any electrical connections that are used in conjunction with any security system. It typically creates more problems than helps. You might want to consult with a local car audio / alarm installation company to see what they recommend as this is not our area of specialty.

Oil leak behind oil filter
There should be an oil pressure sensor (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/oil-pressure-sensor-replacement) located near the filter housing. Check to see if there is a leak at the sensor. At idle, there should be about 15PSI of pressure and about 50-60PSI at around 3,000 RPM's....

My 2001 lexus is300 stalling when accelerating for a second and then pushes itself to go
An issue such as this would very likely be associated with a check engine light being illuminated on the dash. In this case I would recommend having a check engine light inspection (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/check-engine-light-is-on-inspection) performed by a qualified professional to determine...
Rough idle after timing chain install run ok after 2500 rpms
You should check the big main vacuum line going from the PCV valve to the intake manifold. The connection at the manifold gets a hole in it and will cause problems with running at lower rpms.

Hi Sparrow. Thanks for the follow-up question. When a gas pump shuts off sooner than it should, it's due to one of two possible issues. Either the pump is damaged, or there is an issue with the fuel tank -...
