Q: Keyless door on hatchback not working.

asked by on

The hatchback keyless door will not operate.

Hello, If the hatchback won’t open with the remote or the interior release button, the most likely problem is in the rear hatch unlock solenoid. I would check all the fuses first, since it might have a dedicated fuse. If the fuse is good, the unlock solenoid will need to be accessed to perform electrical testing. You may need the aid of a mechanic to remove the panel for access and testing.
