Q: Ignition lock cylinder bmw installment

asked by on July 10, 2017

So I'm installing an ignition lock cylinder. We were able to finally get our old one out by drilling it out (no harm done). We couldn't seem to get the old ignition lock cylinder out the traditional way. When I try to install my new lock cylinder I can't get it to lock in. When my ignition lock cylinder broke it was "running".

My car has 72000 miles.
My car has a manual transmission.
