The cigar lighter makes it so that you can light your cigar or cigarette without having to use a gas lighter. The cigar lighter is located next to the cup holders. To use the cigar lighter, press the cap in all the way. The cap will heat up, and eject itself when it is sufficiently hot. Grab the cap by the handle, and touch the hot end to your cigar or cigarette.
