How do I use the automatic dimming rearview mirror?

The rearview mirror can be dimmed for increased visibility at night. When it is dark outside, the brightness of headlights in the rearview mirror can make it hard for you to see, so you should always dim your rearview mirror at night. To use the automatic dimmer, press the indicator button on the bottom of the rearview mirror; the mirror will then automatically dim when it detects that it is dark outside. An indicator light next to the button will illuminate when the automatic dimming rearview mirror is turned on.
