I have the code PO304 coming up on my 2014 chevy silverado Mechanic's Assistant: Just to clarify, what's the exact code? And have you tried to reset it? P0304 and no, I did replace the [spark plugs](/topics-spark-plug-chevy/) and the wires and the jerking seemed to get better but i still feel a bit a rough vibration on and off at stops Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your Spark yourself? What have you tried so far? Yes, at first a week ago the [engine](/topics-engine-chevy/) light would flicker and so I would pull over and try to figure this out but it would go away. 3 days ago it appeared and stayed solid, that night the truck would refuse to start, I had to try 3/4 times by pressing on the gas to get it on to drive it home. The next day I used the scan tool to confirm it was the misfire I had in mind and it was, the misfire on cylinder 4, so i figured i would start with the spark plugs and then the wires, it did get better but the light has not gone away, and i do still feel some type of shake at stops

Hello and welcome to Just Answer. I'm Paul, And happy to help you with your question today. a bad lifter is a very common issue causing misfire on these. I am attaching a couple of test procedures with confirmed repairs below. a. [https://peapull.com/o/1614004945.pdf](https://peapull.com/o/1614004945.pdf) b. [https://peapull.com/o/1614004956.pdf](https://peapull.com/o/1614004956.pdf) Have the testing in the above links performed to check for a bad lifter or less likely a bad fuel injector. I would also be checking for vacuum leaks in the area of #4 If you need more help just reply, and let me know. Thank you, Paul
