Q: Battery Dead
I turned on my Ford Focus SE 2012, without turning on my engine, to charge my phone. Forgot about it charging until the lights flashed. Now my car won't start.
My car has an automatic transmission.
You may have caused the anti theft system to become activated since this can cause it to clear the key code if key was left on too long with out starting the vehicle. You may need to have the vehicle reprogrammed by a dealer level scanner. If theft light is on and does not go off then this is the case.
