even though he was late he sent a msg via email to that fact. He thoroughly inspected the job and carefully went about performing his task, which was done skillfully and in a very timely manner. He thoroughly cleaned all spills and made sure to leave the car in the same or better condition than it was found. Derrick completed the task that was asked and went above and beyond to tell the customer more about the diagnoses. He also ACTUALLY took a look at some of the issues the customer was having when the customer booked the first appointment with YourMechanic so that he could do a thorough and complete job (the other mechanic made the mistake of only fixing one of the motor mounts when in reality the others needed replacing as well). He did not continuously push for a 5 star rating on the job as the other mechanic had (although he didn't fix what the customer asked to be fixed), but instead was timely, friendly, and professional (stayed on task). He even showed up a bit early to the appointment. I would absolutely recommend Derrick, thank you so much for being open and honest, and caring about the dignity of your job, since my vehicle is incredibly important for my work performance. You should probably take some of that diagnostic money I had to give the other guy and give it to Derrick.

Rafael's work was right on. Changed the oil & filter and told me of some issues I was unaware of. Clean. took an hour. Only disappointment: He was delayed on a previous job and was an hour plus late. Somehow YourMechanic through their tracking system, or perhaps Rafael could have let them know. I had to call and find out that the previous appointment was running late and he was delayed. It wasn't an issue this time, and I had no plans until the end of the day, I would have appreciated knowing and understood about repair delays. I have worked on cars for a most of my life.
