The radiator for the Tahoe has two plastic side tanks where all connections to hoses and reservoir tank are made. This radiator is not repairable and will have to be replaced if the radiator is deemed faulty. A pressure test will need to be done if a crack in one of the tank sides are not evident to ensure the radiator is the leak source and not a hose connection. Whenever servicing or checking the cooling system always ensure the engine is cold and the system is not pressurized. Checking or opening the cooling system while hot and pressurized can cause serious injury. You may want to enlist the help of a mechanic, such as one from YourMechanic, who has the tools and equipment to diagnose the source of the radiator leak and make the necessary repairs.
