Q: Radiator hose rubbing on pully or a belt

asked by on September 14, 2016

Hi I just bought a car that has been in a minor accident but the radiator hose is rubbing on a pully what do I need to fix it and is it costly

Hey there. If the accident caused the hose to move closer to the pulley, then you may not have much choice but to get the body shop to pull the frame back. If you can move the hose, then you could use some heavy duty tie straps and pull the hose away from the pulley.
