My car has 100000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

This vehicle’s engine does not use a conventional style (accessible) PCV valve. Instead, there is an orifice which meters the flow rate of blow by gases at a rate dependent on inlet vacuum. This PCV orifice is an integral part of the camshaft (valve) cover and therefore to service it you have to remove or replace the cover. The system can be inspected and tested to determine whether cleaning or replacement is required. Please simply request PCV valve inspection and service and the responding certified mechanic will get this taken care of for you. With regard to the possibly poor running condition of the engine, that would be evaluated along with the inspection and servicing (if required) of the valve. If you have further questions or concerns, do not hesitate to re-contact YourMechanic as we are always here to help you.

Steering pulls to the left, dangerous problem to have
This seems to be a fairly common problem (https://www.yourmechanic.com/book/?mktg_jid=344) with the 2013 Optima. It may be caused by incorrect calibration of the Steering Angle Sensor or it may be related to a mechanical issue with the suspension or tires. I...

The car cannot be put in gear when the engine runs
Hello. It sounds like the clutch slave cylinder (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/symptoms-of-a-bad-or-failing-clutch-slave-cylinder) may not be working properly or has completely failed. The slave cylinder is what makes it easy for you to manually shift through the gears of the car. When the slave...

It's runs really bad upon start up, but if allowed to idle for 30-45 min it will run perfectly.
Hi there. What seems to be happening is your engine is being leaned out when running cold until the engine reaches operating temperature. Check the coolant temperature sensor or the engine temperature sensor. These sensors could have a fault in...
fuel injection service was done by a mechanic and I smell a chemical in my garage.
Hi there. Sounds like the mechanic used a chemical that includes washer cleaner that helps clean out the fuel injectors. This can burn, but it is very toxic. I recommend venting the garage while the fuel is being burned until...
