It sounds like the [alternator](/topics-alternator-dodge/) not charging the new battery you have or wiring cables from the battery to alternator You need to check if the alternator is putting out 14 volts when the car is running? the new battery if it dropped below 7 volts will not to be put on the charger and try restarting the car so you can then put voltmeter and see while it is running from the battery if the readings at battery terminals indicate 14 plus volts or 12 volts and draining down that will be the first thing I would check and then go from there What is the mileage on the car now ? **Please Let Me Know** **Thank You** **Chad Farhat** **ASE Certified Technician**

Car makes noise when turning or slowing down
Hello. Depending on what the noise sounds like would tell me different things. I know that the most common noise I have had on this vehicle is a clicking noise (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/loud-clicking-noise-when-i-turn-the-car-inspection). Most of the time this noise is from a...

I had a p0405 get code replaced egr valve, map sensor, mad sensor, and PCv valve just to be safe but still getting the code why?
The code P0405 (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/p0405-obd-ii-trouble-code-exhaust-gas-recirculation-sensor-circuit-a-low-by-jay-safford) and a rough idle is most likely due to carbon getting into the EGR pintle. This will hold the EGR open. When you are getting the rough idle you should shut off engine and remove EGR...

Hello. From what you describe it would appear that your vehicle is experiencing more than one issue. My temperature gauge goes up and down when driving. We just recently changed the thermostat. It even does it when the ac is off. I
Hi there. It is quite possible that the electrical harness to the thermostat is faulty or you have an obstruction of coolant inside the radiator or cooling system that is causing an actual temperature flux as you are describing. It...
I have p0128, p0304, and p0420 engine will not run.
I believe it was the P0128 code that did it. This code indicates a faulty thermostat or a faulty coolant temperature sensor. If the P0420 code has been around for a while, this would not only not have caused the...
