Q: What is a P013C code

asked by on

My dash board is showing the check engine sign

My car has 20000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

This code signals an oxygen sensor slow response from rich-to-lean on bank 2 sensor 2. This indicates that when the computer cuts the fuel to test sensor output, it does not respond quick enough and the code is set. This can be caused by a problem with the O2 sensor or a problem with the exhaust catalyst getting too much fuel in the exhaust and not being able to burn it off in the catalyst fast enough. Have a Check Engine Light diagnosis done to the vehicle for the code and see what the failed cause is.
