I had a "no start problem" on a 2001 Ford Explorer. Emmette quickly determined the issue was an old alarm system that was defective that I wasn't even aware was installed in the car. He removed the alarm and the problem was solved. He took the time to look over the rest of the vehicle. The service was very covenant and avoided the price of a tow. Jose was very thorough with my pre purchase car inspection. He was very direct with the dealer who was selling it and because of that I have managed to get them to do some work on the vehicle before I buy it. I needed to clarify a couple of points and YourMechanic passed he message on to him and he called me straight away and spent a long time discussing it on the phone with me.
Jose arrived early and was very courteous. he got right down to business and tried to diagnose my car. unfortunately my car decided to act right. he was patient and then the trouble with my car showed its face. he explained everything he was doing and i watched as he worked. overall very pleasant experience and he pointed me in the right direction for possible fixes. i would request him again.
Will was great, very professional and open with communication. He did not arrive on time however but it was out of his control. The customer before us held him up on a fault of his own and did not have the necessary part that Will needed to work on his car. So in turn it caused Will to be 2 hours late. We ended up being very hard pressed for time and my wife was not able to have him to the tire rotation. For the future it would be in the better interest of your clients if there is a set clause or statement when booking appointments that says "if you are not prepared when the mechanic arrives, your mechanic will pass on to the next customer and you will have to reschedule accordingly".
I generally try to do my own repairs but just wasn't feeling like dabbling with the distributor. I need my car sell-able and don't have time or money to mess around.
In comes YourMechanic.com and Dayne. I definitely got the feeling that every step he took, he took his time and did it right. I got the chance to learn a few things about why my car was behaving badly - one car guy to another, I appreciate that a lot.
Overall, Dayne was very easy-going and polite. Got things done fast and efficiently. He had enough tools to cover what I would imagine to be almost any job.
I definitely would call him out again if I needed assistance on another repair.
