The Honda Accord features an emergency trunk release lever in case someone becomes trapped in the trunk. To use the lever, simply push it in the direction indicated by the arrows. The trunk lid will open and can be pushed up easily.
Parents should use their discretion about showing the release lever to children. With that being said, children are the most likely to be trapped accidentally in the trunk (when playing around the car), and this knowledge could be invaluable.
