I've been an automotive technician since 2008 and am a graduate of the Universal Technical Institute. I've worked at Midas, at a heavy equipment shop, on a diesel fleet at the airport, and at independent shops. I've worked on almost all makes and models of cars and trucks and love working directly with customers so I can really get to know their vehicles. Nothing gives me more satisfaction than repairing or servicing a car to make it run even better!

I was very pleased with my no start inspection by Jim. He was very friendly, patient and knowledgeable. He took the time to answers all of my question without making me feel uncomfortable. He arrived 4 mins ahead of schedule and he came prepared. I am pleased with my inspection and i will be requesting Jim again, I wish i could give him 10 stars.

I Have to say my experience with Your Mechanic was less than perfect. I did not know what to expect since it was my first time using this company. I received my quote and agreed to it, made my appointment with Franky O. The earliest one was a week off, so I took it. Waited the week and the morning my mechanic was to come received a text saying he was on his way. Then received a text saying it was cancelled and I would have to reschedule. Angry that I had already waited I reluctantly agreed to reschedule with a new mechanic for that Monday since it was Easter weekend and that was the earliest they could get me in and offered a discount for my inconvenience. Thinking everything was set I went on with my day. Then received a call saying there would have to be a price increase for my part. Angered I called to talk to them and received Mitch in costumer service, after explaining again the situation and the feeling that I shouldn't be paying more for the part since they should have already had the part from the morning they were supposed to put it in was ridiculous. Mitch then agreed to lower the price another $10 from the new quote with the discount. It was still more than my original but since I had already waited a week and needed my car and it was lower than going to a shop, I agreed. Here I will tell Mitch that I am sorry that he had to deal with me. I was less than friendly. Jim Steil showed up exactly on time at 7am and put the new part in my car and had it all done by 8:30am. I was extremely pleased with Jim and his work. He was polite and turned my experience with this company around. Honestly this company can thank Jim for making me think that it was all worth it. They said this was very unusual and never really happens, but if it were not for the excellent work Jim and his friendly nature I probably would never call them again. I really hope this was a one time thing because the price was very good and my mechanic was very nice and professional. THANK YOU JIM STEIL!!

I am very thankful that I have found your mechanic for its ease of booking, convenience of having a mechanic come to me, and great pricing. The detailed reports I receive after each visit are extremely helpful to someone like me who is not an expert on cars. I will continue to use Jim's services and refer my friends to your mechanic

Jim was very punctual - showed up on time (7 in the morning) and was able to complete the task of replacing spark plugs on time. He also went above and beyond to check things in my car. I feel comfortable hiring him again, given the knowledge he has on cars and his proficiency.

Jim was on time and started right away scanning for the problem. He replaced an ignition coil and discovered a leaking vacume hose which he fixed. This was above and beyond what was expected. He was very informative on the procedure he did.

I normally do all my own maintenance but did not want to tackle this project myself. Communication was great and Jim showed up early. It was raining so he ended up working at the end of my driveway under a tree, lol. He quickly and cleanly replaced front brake pads and rotors and was here and gone in less than 90 minutes. Great service overall, and I'll be using Jim again for future maintenance on all my vehicles. Thanks!

This is the second time I used Jim for his services. He was running slightly late, but he kept me informed. Once on location, he got to work and replaced the master cylinder. Also took the car for a drive to ensure it worked properly. I will continue to use his services. Highly recommend!

Jim was great but the truck broke down the very next day from the same problem and they are making me pay again to fix the very same thing. I used brand new parts and that is how they get out of any liability. I thought this was a great service but not anymore. The woman on the phone very obviously did not care.
