Honest Ed is the man! Never tried to upsell me on unnecessary fixes

Edgar came to my home to perform a 60k mile service on my Infiniti FX45. He gave me a call to let me know he was on his way and arrived promptly. He was very friendly in his demeanor and professional in communicating what checks he was doing and reporting on the condition of the car. He brought all the equipment he needed in his mobile shop and completed the service in the estimated time. I highly recommend Edgar if you have any mechanic needs!

Me, being a retired auto mechanic, Edgar is a knowledgeable auto mechanic.He knew what to do and worked in an efficient and systematic way. I would recommend him as a mechanic to anyone.

AMAZING!!!!!! You are wasting your time and money going to a garage. I did not have to worry if my car had to be kept overnight. I did not have to worry if "extra" fees would be added. I did not have to get a ride home and then back to pick up the car. I did not have to reschedule my whole day. He came on FRIDAY NIGHT to look at the car. Told me what was wrong and what it would cost. Told me that based on the information I had already provided, he had ordered the necessary parts already, so that he could do the work the next day. He kept me updated on when he was coming over. He showed up on SATURDAY and got straight to work. Any other time I have had brake work done it takes a whole day. He got it done in just about 2 hours. He knows what he is doing. He does what he says he is going to do. He is upfront. He communicates and makes sure you understand what is going every step of the way. I am not a car person. I know you put gas in, turn the key, and it should work. He patiently answered every question. He told me things about my car I had never heard from any other mechanic, so I knew what was going on and I understood. When he was done, he told me what other work I would need to do in the future and when. I am sorry I wasted my time and money going to all those other garages! Edgar knows his stuff! I have never looked forward to having work done on my car. It is my baby and every other time I have felt like someone took advantage of me. Not this time! NOT Edgar! I can't wait for my car to need another service!

Edgar was very vague in his description of "exhaust noise" so I still can't pinpoint it at the gasket, headers, catalytic converter, etc. Also the report was too vague in assessments, using words like "OK" everywhere. There weren't many specific notes I could use for selling the car. The pictures I asked him to take of the car were also poor and limited in numbers - I had to go back and do that myself.

Edgar was fantastic, even though an unexpected problem came up. He helped me look for parts and came back the next day to finish up!

Edgar makes it painless and easy. I know nothing about cars. I want to be able to just put gas in it, turn the key and go. Edgar makes sure I can do that safely.

Edgar was great! Not only would I recommend Edgar and YourMechanic to friends, I already have. I was looking for an "excellent" rating, but the best the form allowed was "very good." Although I tried not to hover, I appreciated that Edgar explained what he diagnosed and showed me where the wiring was shorting out. He also gave me some tips on how to maintain my car better. Edgar came to my apartment and explained what was wrong with my car right away and fixed it next day. I do not know too much about cars, so in the past, I ALWAYS got ripped off.. I hate to take a car to shops..they always tell me " you need to fix this and that, also here and there" ...I just did not know where to take my car at this time, because last time when I had problems... they told me to get a new car,and it was waste of money and time for me to fix it....However Edgar was not like that at all...
