Hans showed up to do a repair (not maintenance) that the dealer diagnosed and recommended. Beforehand, he asked questions about how the car had been acting and how I narrowed it down to that part, to make sure I hadn't been misled. He also had to order the part, and communicated thoroughly when he was worried it hadn't showed up in time (he had to make an extra stop on his way to me). Once there, he finished the appointment in the allotted time.
He also diagnosed some squeaks/creaks (that would not be cost-effective to fix), as well as noise under acceleration and a minor oil leak. He also told me my oil was getting low and that I should get it changed ASAP, even though he was booked up. (These car people have to keep me in line sometimes!)
