What is the Horn Relay all about?

The horn relay attaches a low power circuit to an electromagnet, which operates a mechanical switch. That switch either opens or closes a circuit that carries a higher power, which causes the horn to sound. There is a low power circuit running to your car’s steering wheel, and when it is activated, the horn sounds. When you release the horn button, the low power circuit is opened and the power level of the relay drops, silencing the horn.

You are required by law to have a working horn in your car.
Your car horn is a safety mechanism that allows you to warn other drivers of potential danger.

The vehicle battery is disconnected
The horn relay position is identified
The new horn relay and wiring are installed
The battery is reconnected
The repair is verified and the vehicle horn is tested for proper operation

Peter was awesome. I know nothing about fixing cars but I have a project Bronco II that I’m working on and I’m having starting issues. He changed out my battery cables and I was still having issues. So Peter diagnosed the problem, which was the starter, and showed me how to change it for when I get the new one. Peter even helped me get the ignition switch off my truck because I was having issues with it. When I run across something I just can’t do, I’m definitely calling Peter again. And Peter was super early.

Kerry was on time, and he described each diagnostic test that he performed. When he left , he told me the cause of the problem. The fuel pump was not keeping the correct pressure while the vehicle was running. This was caused by the vehicle sitting for a long period of time and the gas tank had developed rust and water in the gas. He showed me samples of the bad gas coming from the fuel pump. He is professional, knowledgeable, and friendly.
