Another job well done. I must say that hands down I was really impressed with the work done to my car. Peter showed up ready to get to work and knock the job out of the way. After the work was all done he test drove my car and did a complete inspection to make sure everything was running right. My car rides better than she did when I first got it. Thank you Peter for getting me back on the road safely. I will see you in 4 weeks to get my break pads replaced. Peter is the best, I recommend his services

Chris did a pre-purchase inspection for me. I received an email prior to his arrival at the cars location as promised, and a phone call before he got started to discuss my concerns about the car. He acknowledged my concerns and explained that I would receive a detailed report, with pictures and audio of the items he inspected. Chris sounded very knowledgeable, and was helpful in describing the service he was about to perform. After the service, he called again to describe his concerns with the car, and answered all of my questions with patience and expertise, and again explained that the report would go into detail regarding the service inspections he made. After talking with Chris, and reviewing the online report, I was very satisfied knowing the condition of the car (which I did not purchase, in part because of Chris's report and lengthy conversation about it's condition). I would certainly recommend, and use your services in the future! Thanks Chris!!

All about Serpentine/Drive Belt Replacement

The serpentine/drive belt or v-belt is a rubber belt that connects the alternator, power steering, and AC to the part of the engine (crankshaft) which transfers the power from the engine to those components. Without this belt, the battery will not get charged and none of the electrical accessory components in the car will work. The serpentine belt and v-belt are also known as "drive belts." Because of the high amount of heat in the engine, the belt can develop cracks over time and eventually break. If the belt breaks, the steering wheel will be difficult to turn and driving will be hazardous. In some cars, water pumps are driven by the drive belts. If the belt breaks, water and coolant needed to keep the engine cool will not properly flow to the engine. The engine will overheat, potentially causing severe damage.
