He was very helpful and professional. His aptitude trumps shop mechanics in my experience.

I never met him but the report was thorough.

I was very excited when I found this service. I couldn't believe no one had thought of the idea before. However, I will not be using YourMechanic again. So many things went wrong, and I can't even drive my car right now. First, the mechanic had my car up on the jack, and the car was RUNNING, which is so unsafe and not what should be done. Second, there was no drip pan or anything under my car when he was changing the oil. Third, when I went out to check on the progress, I saw a huge oil stain on the driveway and the mechanic said that he was "almost done" when a gasket on my oil filter broke and all the oil leaked out. At the point that I came outside, he was replacing the gasket with a new one (I guess?). He said that he "put some stuff down" so that I would be able to wash the oil away with water, and surprise surprise, it didn't work. Now, that is the least of my problems. This oil change occurred on Saturday (7/25). On Sunday, I noticed my oil was leaking, so I checked the dipstick and oil level and saw that it was ok for me to drive temporarily, but I called YourMechanic and told them that something was wrong. Sunday evening, it was clear that something was very wrong, because the oil spot under my car had grown immensely. This morning, the spot was even bigger and I checked the dipstick and oil level again. It had gone from being at a normal level, to there being absolutely no oil in my car. I had to drive the car to the location where it got serviced on Saturday, because YourMechanic is sending someone out to fix it today. I can't drive my car until this issue is remedied and I had to have someone drive me to work today. Needless to say, this "convenient" service has been a huge, huge inconvenience.
