This worked out perfectly for my car that won't start because I didn't have to tow it from my apartment. I felt that I had great communication with Kevin Ramsey. I was able to leave my car in his capable hands. My expectations were met.

Kevin was friendly, professional and all around great. We love YOUR MECHANIC because of Kevin. Him and YOUR MECHANIC will be our auto service for all our vehicles for life. I recently purchased a 2004 Chevy Tracker. Before purchasing, I wanted to have someone thoroughly inspect the vehicle to make sure it wasn't a lemon, and to notify me of what I would need to take care of in the near future, so I could use that for negotiating the price. I contacted YourMechanic at the last second and they responded immediately, able to accommodate my appointment. I was more than satisfied with the service I received from Kevin, the mechanic they sent to do my inspection. He was very thorough, went above and beyond, and made sure to inform me of even the most minor things. Once the inspection was complete, we reviewed the positives and negatives and I decided to purchase the vehicle. I was even able to talk the dealer down $500 from the asking price to cover some of the things that needed attention immediately. The fact that Kevin even had knowledge of the dealers in the area aided my decision. It made me more comfortable purchasing from the dealer himself, even though I had already had a good feeling about the guy and had read previous positive reviews about him and his dealership. The reports (online and printable) I received were amazingly detailed, listed reminders of what I needed to be aware of, and even rated the vehicles condition to give reference. And they were available immediately. YourMechanic is also VERY affordable. I was getting inspection bids of $150 and up, but only paid $98 for this service. Thank you YourMechanic and Kevin. You all certainly exceeded expectations. I will most definitely use your service in the future and recommend you to others.

Overall I'm happy with the work. But I have a few suggestions. Kevin was professional in his work. My only complaint he used 5W30 oil and my dodge Durango owners manual says to use 10W30 motor oil. I don't know if it really makes a difference with a 13 year old Durango with 140,000 miles. Now, with that being said. The other things that I would say are that your tech's should have uniforms and picture ID. Also showing up in his personal vehicle doesn't help with making me think I have a guy who knows what he's doing. I will give YourMechanic another try with my other car at a future date. Hopefully some of my concerns will be remedied My 4 stars for "Professionalism" are solely based on no uniform, picture ID and the use of his personal vehicle. He did show me a ID of sorts in his smartphone. That might make some people nervous and uncomfortable.

Once again...Kevin is great. Got it done in under an hour and the 15 year old truck never ran better. I am spreading the news around my company about Kevin and Your Mechanic. Thanks!

On time and very quick and informative on the work he is doing

Got exactly what i was looking for a more, he gave me great tips on how to take care of my car and what things i might want to get done. He even forwarded some quotes for services we talked about needing to get done.

The level of service offered was excellent, and the convenience of having a mechanic come to my place of work, instead of travelling miles to the local dealer, was great. I will definitely use this service again.

Kevin went above and beyond. He gave an excellent description of his services as well as some tips for the future of my automobile.

I was extremely impressed with Kevin. He arrived exactly on time and got right down to diagnosing what was wrong with my car. It needed a modest fix (a replacement ignition coil on one of the cylinders) At no time did I feel pressured by Kevin or in any way did I feel he was doing more than was needed to get my car back on the road. I work from home and only have one car so this was way better than sitting in the dealership waiting while the dollars racked up. I am certain I got my car fixed at a lower price than taking it to Honda and I am more than satisfied with the result. I will use Kevin again without hesitation and will recommend him to family & friends.

Another great service call from Kevin at yourmechanic.com. My 12 year old Honda Odyssey needs to go in for its smog test this month so Kevin came out and serviced it and gave it a full pre smog tune up. Car is running much smoother now and I am confident it will pass the smog test, if not I am equally confident that Kevin will be able to fix whatever is needed to get it through. I work from home, have one car and having Kevin do this work on my driveway allows me to keep working and is far more convenient as well as cheaper than my local dealer. I couldn't be happier with the service.

Kevin was awesome very professional the whole time he was working on my car, communicated to me what he was doing to the car made sure the job was done right the first time i will differently be using his services again for my other cars as well. even recommended him to one of my neighbors already who was driving my house.

Disappointed the work couldn't be done but Kevin was great. Will use service again.
