What is the Brake Light Bulb all about?

Brake light bulbs are located at the back of the car, housed inside a protective covering (lens). The brake light turns on when you push the brake pedal, letting drivers know that you are slowing down. If the brake light does not illuminate, you’re at a higher risk for causing an accident and/or being pulled over and cited by a police officer.

Keep in mind the number of brake lights a car has can vary. The third (or rear window/center) brake light should not be overlooked when doing an inspection.

  • Inspect brake bulbs, sockets and wiring.
  • Replace the bulb, if faulty.
  • Check all the lights.

Amor was wonderful. I just had a brake light out that he fixed, but my car would not get rid of the warning message even when the light was back up and working. Amor stayed past the allotted time to stay and debug the issue (even though he didn't have to since he had already fixes the light.) Turns out there was a connection loose that he screwed in tight. He was pleasant and cheerful the whole time, would highly reccomend.
