Lucas

Always reluctant to hire a new mechanic - but Lucas was thorough, professional, knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, courteous. He went straight to work, isolated my problems, gave me fair and reasonable quotes. I will keep his card and probably keep him busy. My car was a pass down from my father - 16 years old, 200,000 miles and in need of some TLC. Lucas is my guy! Highly recommended.

Jose provided exception service. He was very knowledgeable and knew how to diagnose my car problem quickly and gave me plenty of good car maintenance tips. He took his time and did a quality job. I was a little skeptical using yourmechanic.com for the first time but I will definitely be using it more often given how positive my first experience was.

All about Power Steering Pressure Hose Replacement

The power steering system enables you to turn the steering wheel easily. When the car is not running, it is extremely hard to turn the steering wheel and the tires. When the car is running, it is the power steering system that helps you turn the steering wheel so easily. The power steering system includes: power steering pump, fluid, belt, hoses and steering gear (rack and pinion). The steering gear connects the steering wheel to the stub axles. When you turn the steering wheel, the power steering pump sends fluid to the steering gear that applies the pressure needed to turn the wheels. If the power steering hoses leak, the steering will become harder to turn. You may see clear or red fluid (power steering fluid) underneath your car.
