This was my first time with YourMechanic. I enjoyed the overall experience even though the time had to be changed. Cary was accomodating.
Blake is a great guy, a knowledgeable mechanic, and he really went above and beyond to finish the repair of control arms on my Volvo. After the auto parts store provided the wrong part, Blake came back to re-install my old control arms, then came back again when the correct part came in in order to finish the job. Great service, I'll definitely call on Blake again.
Blake and YourMechanic were awesome! The YourMechanic website was really easy to use, and I love that I have my inspection report, pictures of the issues, and everything I need all in one place. Blake was nice, professional, and really patient, explaining what he was doing and walking me through what needed to be fixed. I will definitely be referring other people to this service!
Jerel fixed my timing belt and water pump. It did not help my car to start however. He did tell me this was a possibility as the belt broke while I was driving. He could not advise of the likelihood it would be successful. I later spoke with Neil Becker at Becker Automotive who said the Pistons will always be bent after a timing belt goes in this car. Had I known this beforehand I would have known not to throw good money after bad. He was very professional and courteous however. He diagnosed the problem immediately but unfortunately did not give me enough information to make a fully informed decision. I would definitely use him again for something different.
