I wish I would have known about YourMechanic sooner! Dan called me several hours before my appointment to see if he could come earlier. I said yes, and then I ended up being the one that was late. He was very professional and friendly! The cost of this repair was about half of what I was quoted at a repair shop. I could not be happier with this service, and I have already recommended YourMechanic (and Dan, specifically) to several of my friends! I will absolutely try to make my future appointments with Dan again!

Jason was very hard working. He did what he believed to be on the best interest of his customer. He was very set on my car hitting the road in the best condition possible. He was very upfront about what he could not fix but referred places that I could go for those particular services. I was very satisfied with the service from Jason. I just may make him my personal mechanic 

It was great! Simple and to the point. I don't much about cars however with Peter be was capable to describe the problem in a way where I understood. I truly appreciated that because it made me feel comfortable.

All about Alternator Repair

The alternator is the component that charges the battery in your car. When you use electrical components in your car (stereo, lights, etc.), the battery loses power. The alternator recharges the battery, replenishing the lost battery power. The alternator is located in the engine compartment. If the alternator is not working properly, your car will only stay running for as long as the battery has power stored. Once the battery loses power, your car will not start. Normally, a malfunctioning alternator will turn on the battery warning light or will have a low volt gauge reading.
