What a stress free repair! Robert showed up at the time they said he would be there (not a 4 hour window like many companies). He finished the work in the time they said he would and what a convenience to not have our car towed somewhere, it was done right in our driveway! Very professional person and never tried to upsell us like a dealership would. Thank you! You will definitely have our return business.

Luke was very upfront about what was needed and the process. I liked being able to see what he was working on while he was doing it. It made for a more personal auto experience, which I enjoy because I've had bad experiences in the past with dishonest mechanics.

All about Ignition Coil Replacement

Ignition coils transform low voltage electrical power 12 volts D.C. to high voltage current 50,000 volts D.C. or higher. The spark generated by the ignition coil ignites the fuel and air mixture in the engine that enables the car to start and run smoothly. If an ignition coil is not working properly, no spark will ignite the air fuel mixture, causing a misfire. A bad ignition coil can severely damage the engine or catalytic converter. If your car is equipped with “coil over plugs,” then it is recommended that you replace the spark plugs. If your car uses a single coil for the ignition system, it is not necessary to change the spark plugs.
