It was raining at appointment time, but he returned later during a small break in the rain to replace a cylinder coil and now my car runs great.

He is a really pleasant man,who has a good attention to detail,as it happens there was no way to get the car started, due to what appears to be failed fuel pumps, which is what i suspected. I am 70 years old, fixing it has lost its appeal, and did not have all the tools to fix it with me.Therefore being a mechanic my self in the past, i can only say he knows what he is doing. If the parts were at hand he would have repaired it no problem i'm quite sure,so for me he gets top marks,in all departments. Awesome experience!! Chris was great!! I was extremely satisfied with his service. I would recommend him to family and friends. Besides delivering a new battery and installing it, He checked all the fluid levels, checked the tire pressure and made sure all the the malfunction lights went away. He was very professional, knowledgable and friendly. The final bill was less than I was quoted, because he gave me a $20.00 discount.I asked for his card so that I could request him if I need YourMechanic services again. Love this company!!!

All about Intake Manifold Gaskets Replacement

The intake manifold is an aluminum, steel or plastic cover that sits on top of the engine. It is attached to the top of the engine by an intake manifold gasket (or gaskets) that is made of plastic and rubber. The intake manifold directs the air-fuel mixture in the engine to the corresponding cylinder where it is burned to produce power. The coolant flows through the intake manifold to the cylinder heads to reduce engine temperature. Expansion, contraction, and heat from the engine cause the gasket to fail. This will cause coolant passing through the intake manifold to leak. A leaky manifold gasket can also result in air being sucked through the leaky gasket, resulting in a vacuum leak and poor engine performance.
