Robert was very diligent, helpful and flexible. He also gave great advice on how to maintain my car and explanations of the issues I was facing. When I called with last minute requests of things to check/change for my service he was very flexible and very responsive.

Blake was very professional, polite and courteous. He showed up on time to the 2 appointments that I had and completed the 2 fixes that I had on my Mazda6 (power window was not working and the door lock was not working). My only constructive piece of criticism was the actual price of the job was a bit higher than was quoted to me online. I believe it took him much longer to complete the job than was originally anticipated. I plan on using this service again.

Chad was fantastic. He worked us into his schedule in a pinch, and was communicative and helpful, and took the time to thoroughly explain his pre-purchase inspection when I asked for details about the used car we were looking at buying. . It's clear that he takes pride in the work that he does, and also values the people that he works with. He was courteous and friendly, I wish I'd known about mobile mechanic services sooner. I will definitely be checking out MyMechanic for actual service work to my *new* vehicle.

All about Ignition Coil Replacement

Ignition coils transform low voltage electrical power 12 volts D.C. to high voltage current 50,000 volts D.C. or higher. The spark generated by the ignition coil ignites the fuel and air mixture in the engine that enables the car to start and run smoothly. If an ignition coil is not working properly, no spark will ignite the air fuel mixture, causing a misfire. A bad ignition coil can severely damage the engine or catalytic converter. If your car is equipped with “coil over plugs,” then it is recommended that you replace the spark plugs. If your car uses a single coil for the ignition system, it is not necessary to change the spark plugs.
