Brandon showed up right at 7AM and was a magician. The issue I'd been having for a couple of months, and even occurred just 20 minutes before his arrival, never happened. He checked my vehicle over and took it for a test drive...still no symptoms. He knows his stuff, and gave me some tips in case the issue returned. I'll definitely request him again, and will send my friends his way.

Martin was great. Just couldn't replace ignition cylinder as requested and let me know someone would contact me to make another appointment to complete the request. It's 3:30PM and no one has contracted me for Martin to return. Hope this happens soon so I don't lose confidence in what seems like a great idea. Larry P, Kyle, TX

All about CV Axle / Shaft Assembly Replacement

Axle shafts are commonly referred to as “CV axles” or “half-shafts.” An axle shaft is a narrow, pole-like part that connects a wheel to the gears in the transmission. Axles are part of the system that enables the wheels to rotate. One end of the axle shaft is connected to the transmission and the other end is connected to the wheel. The transmission rotates the axle shafts, which rotates the wheels. Without the axles, the tires will not rotate and the car will not move. Axle shafts are comprised of four components: shaft, CV joints, grease and the boots (grease container). The most common reason for the axle to fail is because of the torn boots (grease leaking out). Without the grease, the CV joints will not get lubricated, dirt will enter the joint and the whole axle will eventually wear out.
