Jonathan was very helpful and thorough while going through the inspection. He also listened and took into account other concerns I had during his visit. He even took pictures from underneath my truck to show me a worn part and took the time to explain what was wrong, the severity etc. I have booked more services with Jonathan, he's a great mechanic.

Kevin came by my house to work on my 2000 Ford Ranger . He replaced the valve cover gasket did it in a timely manner. Very nice and seemed to know what he was doing. If I need work on my truck in the future I would not hesitate to use Your Machanic or Kevin again. Michael Long

So kind and helpful! He literally just drove off, but I couldn't wait to refer him to anyone who is looking for an informative, respectful mechanic. He didn't mind at all my pestering curious questions and was happy to answer any questions that I asked. My vehicle still needs some work done and I am definitely planning on getting Luis back out here to be the one to do it.

All about Ignition Coil Replacement

Ignition coils transform low voltage electrical power 12 volts D.C. to high voltage current 50,000 volts D.C. or higher. The spark generated by the ignition coil ignites the fuel and air mixture in the engine that enables the car to start and run smoothly. If an ignition coil is not working properly, no spark will ignite the air fuel mixture, causing a misfire. A bad ignition coil can severely damage the engine or catalytic converter. If your car is equipped with “coil over plugs,” then it is recommended that you replace the spark plugs. If your car uses a single coil for the ignition system, it is not necessary to change the spark plugs.
