Alex was great. Even though the repairs didn't get made on this appointment. He did temporary get me going. We schedule an appointment today 5.19.2016 to get the repair work completed. The appointment was at 11:00, but no pushed back. Hoping to get this done today, because I'm really having issues.

I was told I needed a new alternator. He came out on time and explained to me that I didn't not need one and the reasons why. He did a complete inspection and although he could not figure out why the car stalled, I am happy with the service and feel secure that the all point inspection came back good. He also gave me a list of maintenance that needs to be done which I could see and understand after he showed and explained to me, unlike going to a repair shop and being told this and this is recommended and wondering if they just want money or if it's really needed. William if you're reading this, last night the plugs were changed, throttle cleaned and air filter changed. Tires are being replaced and coolant system flush happening now. Transmission fluid change in a month when I get more money! Thanks so much for answering all my questions and being patient.

All about CV Axle / Shaft Assembly Replacement

Axle shafts are commonly referred to as “CV axles” or “half-shafts.” An axle shaft is a narrow, pole-like part that connects a wheel to the gears in the transmission. Axles are part of the system that enables the wheels to rotate. One end of the axle shaft is connected to the transmission and the other end is connected to the wheel. The transmission rotates the axle shafts, which rotates the wheels. Without the axles, the tires will not rotate and the car will not move. Axle shafts are comprised of four components: shaft, CV joints, grease and the boots (grease container). The most common reason for the axle to fail is because of the torn boots (grease leaking out). Without the grease, the CV joints will not get lubricated, dirt will enter the joint and the whole axle will eventually wear out.
