The oil resides in the oil pan, which is under the car attached to the bottom of the engine. All internal (moving) parts of the engine need to be lubricated by the engine oil. I have a 2010 escape that shaking and seems like the motor bogs down when put into drive. I have a cylinder 1 misfire code. I have changed [spark plugs](/topics-spark-plug-ford/), [fuel injectors](/topics-fuel-injector-ford/), compression is good. Egr valve was recently replaced. Motor mounts are good. I don’t know what could be causing this. Checked for vacuum leaks also.
