What is the PCV Valve Hose all about?

The Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) valve is responsible for transferring excess gas from inside the crankcase into the intake manifold, where the gas can be used as fuel. I wasn’t very hopeful about Jeremy fixing my car problem, as other mechanics and a GM dealer tried, and couldn’t, fix the issue.
