What is cleaning the throttle body all about?

In order to run efficiently and smoothly, your vehicle needs a fuel mixture that is a perfect combination of air and gas. The air intake system is responsible for providing the air part of this equation. The throttle body is the component of the air intake system that determines exactly how much air to let combine with the fuel. When the throttle body is dirty it’s unable to let the right amount of air into the engine.

Keep in mind:

The air intake ducts should be examined when the throttle body is cleaned.
When the throttle body is cleaned, the entire air intake system should be inspected.

How it's done:

Take the snorkle off the throttle body
Spray brake cleaner on the throttle plate
Scrub plate with a brush
Spray the brake cleaner again
Reconnect snorkle

Great and honest service with affordable and fair price. My car wouldn't start and I have to tow my car to my house from a repair shop. Repair shop told me that transmission broke. After Joe inspect my car, he found that alternator went bad and it was the only problem with the car. All repairs were done on the drive way at my house. I didn't pay to tow the car and the price for the service was better at a repair shop.
