Johnny showed up on time, in fact several minutes early. He was very friendly, professional. He was able to diagnosis quickly the reason my Dodge Ram 2500 wouldn’t start and provided an estimate for the repair. I will definitely be using Johnny for future repairs.
Rodney did not do a thorough diagnosis on my vehicle. He indicated that he checked everything, which included voltage from the battery to the starter, and battery itself. He made a final diagnosis that it was a defective starter, and I disagreed with him indicating that it's something else. He was not helpful, but argumentative, and was very reluctant to solve the issue. Well, it turns out that the starter was perfectly fine, and as a matter of fact, even the old starter that the other mechanic Chris installed was perfectly fine. My car is running fine with the current starter in place. Rodney failed to check the amps flowing through from the battery to the starter. If he did it correctly, he would have found out that the car needed a new positive cable from the battery to the starter, which my mechanic successfully diagnosed and repaired properly. I called customer service, and talked with the supervisor, and she could not resolve my issue, which was either refund my charge for a diagnostic or reschedule another appointment to check out the real issue. I will follow-up with corporate and try to resolve this.
