I paid to have the EGR valve replaced only because the check light came on. I took the Jeep to at least two parts stores and they said the vehicle thru a code reflecting that the EGR valve was not working properly, I called YM and stated that I far as I knew the EGR valve was bad. YM came and checked the EGR and stated that it should be replaced. So he replaced the valve. A few days later the CE light came back on. Now a second YM says he THINKS the EGR is working but a "tube" feeding air to it is stopped up. So now I have been charged a second time by YM and basically YM doesn't know for sure what's wrong, for sure. I feel that at the very least I have been charged a second charge to have someone say that YM doesn't know what is wrong.
