What a pleasure it was to do business with your company! i gave up on doing my own work when the carb became a dinosaur, and have been burned many times since both in shops and by "driveway" mechanics. It was such a relief to find your service which sent a professional, friendly, and above all HONEST mechanic, Chris, who diagnosed the problem to be something far less catastrophic, and hence, far less expensive a fix, that I had anticipated. Where I, admittedly, was ripe for fleecing, Chris kept it real, and not just got me rolling again, but advised me what issues to expect in the future. Where he recommended further work would prudent, he also tempered that with cost to value analysis based on the age of my vehicle, which will give me the advantage when future issues arise. For the time he spent, the accurate diagnosis and evaluation of the repair, and the truly low fee for the service call and repair, i feel like I made out like a bandit! You've EARNED a customer for life!
No issues with Augie as a person, he was very personable and nice. He arrived to the location on time. However he failed to notice some glaring issues on the car that showed that it was repaired. One main one that stood out to me was he did not mention to me the fact that the car had a pin stripe on one side of the car but not the other. Nor the multiple areas of overspray on the the driver side. He inspected the mechanical portions of the car well. However since I could not see the car in person I asked him to look over those things and then I found all those things within the first few moments looking at the car. I ended up wasting my time going out to the car just to notice this large issues and flaws, something I believe he should have noted to me.
