Did very good work, truck is running great now.
My initial thought on my vans ill was a faulty thermostat. Mario purchased an OEM thermostat, installed it and tested it by running engine with max air for an extended period. Then I drove it after he left 20 miles for errands with max air on. All was good. Mario has a pleasant demeanor to go with his mechanical knowledge; a nice customer service combination that seems more rare than common. I was able to do work from home during said repairs; with the cost being DEFINITELY less while being spared of watching/hearing 3-4 hours of bad TV in any-fix-it-shop-USA. To me a Hat Trick! Will request Mario again as needed and suggest to others as well.
I entered my review BEFORE I drove my car. My car is just as bad as it was before having mechanic come out. Same problem. Car overheating past red line & emitting burning smell. Had to cancel appt I had rescheduled for doctordue to car being unsafe to drive. Drove my car 2 miles & had to turn off engine. Had to put heat on high to draw heat out of engine to be able to drive back home & not have car break down. I had asked mechanic when he was at my home 2 days ago if my car wouldn't overheat now & if burning smell would be gone & he said yes. As I stated, my car is doing both if those things so it is still not safe to drive. I was told by yourmechanic rep a few moments that it would cost me more money to have a mechanic come out again. I was actually told (astonishingly) that the return appt had " nothing" to do with my initial appt 2 days ago! Really? If my car had been fixed on initial visit 2 days ago I Would NOT NEED ANOTHER APPT for the SAME problem! Let the buyer beware! Obviously I did NOT book another appt!
