I found a used car online in another state from me, but I wanted to find out if the vehicle was worth traveling for. I used Your Mechanic for a Pre-purchase Car Inspection. The service comes with a report and photos, but I really appreciated the phone call afterwards. Paul provided information regarding the repairs that he found as well as noticeable work/damage to the car. While most of the mechanical repairs are fixable, it's not something I am interested to fix nor pay for now, nor would I want to deal with possible structural issues in the near or long term future. I also asked the dealer for the Carfax a few days prior. After receiving, I never bothered to double-check the VIN on the report to the car listed online assuming they had sent the right one because I had provided them the stock number of the vehicle. The Carfax they sent me was clean. Turns out, it wasn't the right one and it listed accidents. Your Mechanic's website was easy to use and I liked seeing the status of the appointment and the messaging option. I feel like the money was well spent on this service and Paul for peace of mind.
