This was the 5th time I used Russell to do repair work on our vehicles. The 2007 needed a new alternator. During the replacement it was found that my water pump had a leak and was also replaced. This was a major job on the Toyota. Russell did a fantastic job and the area was clean. I would recommend him to anyone needing a great mechanic.

Marty is now our new mechanic. Our truck needed a repair that could not be done at our home, so we scheduled an appointment with him at Diamond Automotive in Kyle. He actually picked up our truck and drove it to the shop himself and then drove it back to us after he finished the repairs. Marty is honest, thorough, and a delight to work with.

All about Engine or Transmission Mount Replacement

An engine mount, made of rubber and steel, has two purposes. One, it secures the engine and transmission to the frame of the car, and two, it absorbs the road shocks and engine vibrations so that the driver does not feel any engine movement. Transmission mounts secure the transmission. Most cars have multiple engine and transmission mounts. If one of the mounts breaks, you will feel significant engine movement (vibrations and/or shaking).
